The Veer Shaheed Kesari Chand Rajkiya Snatkottar Mahavidyalaya, Dakpathar established in the year 1993 is catering to the needs of higher education of the Pachwa Doon and Jaunsar Bawar tribal area of Distt. Dehradun and fulfill the aspirations of higher learning of the youth. The college caters to the needs of the students coming from Pachwa Doon, tribal area of Jaunsar Bawar region of district Dehradun and also Jaunpur region (backward area of District Tehri) and adjoining states of Himanchal Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. This diversified social-cultural background of the students makes this institution as one of the leading college in the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand. The vision of the college has been to promote qualitative higher education to the aspirants in various disciplines of knowledge and develop an aptitude and skills in the students to equip them to face challenges.
